Project ALSEEDA

Our main aim in this project

  • Identification of target group, its needs and definition of their problems
  • Development of program of five free guidance materials
  • Distribution of the materials to target groups at the seminars

Target group

  • Parents in areas of high socio-economic deprivation
  • During our practice, we often meet the fact, that in motivation programs for long-term unemployed, we see two age generations. Often, it is the whole family – parents and their children
  • Long-term unemployed parents cannot act as a role model to their children. These parents lose motivation, have less information and have none or only a little knowledge of labor market
  • Parent's long term unemployment has definitely negative influence to their children. Children have no interest either an effort to work or even a look for a job – along the line of their parents

Guidance materials

  • Materials will prepare participants for further education, practice and work
  • It will also focus on the preparation of the adult to act as role models and sources of information for their children
  • All materials will be distributed at the seminars/workshops

YOUR CHANCE – YOUR LIFE

  • Join up – Take your chance in your hand and join us
  • Acknowledge – Admit to yourself you´re not satisfied with your current situation
  • Self-confidence – Start to believe in yourself
  • Accept – Accept the fact you´re the only person who can change your life
  • Wish list – Name the things you want to achieve
  • Commit – Look for a way out of this situation purposefully
  • Passion – Be emotionally excited for your own life, be motivated
  • Purpose – Determination of the purpose of unique life
  • Already have it – You got it! Show the people around you how to get where you are

Previous experience

We have already participated in similar project, where the target group was a group of persons most at risk of unemployment – young adults, age to 25, basic education.

The project aim was to get the target group of people, through their parents , to address their own situation with a direct impact on their jobs.

Obtained and acquired knowledge, skills and practical experience of this target group have helped to remove the barriers that prevented them from active labor market.

So we hope, that our experience from project SORC will help us to understand and be able to work with this target group.

Conclusion

Everyone involved in this project will gain new experience and knowledge:

  • The adults will benefit from being better informed about learning and working opportunities, from gaining more self-esteem, and being able to act as a role models to their children.
  • We will gain more experience in working with disadvantage adults and children, through communication with other partners broaden our horizon in European cooperation

We hope that all the aims of this project will be met and project will be as successful as project Model.
